Statement of faith

  • We believe in one God, who exists in three Persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, a revelation of Jesus Christ from God to mankind, our perfect guide for faith and godly living. We accept no doctrine that contradicts the Bible.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and man. He was concieved by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect and sinless life, took all the sins of humanity on himself and so reconciled the whole world to God at the cross, died and resurrected from the dead on the third day. Today, He is seated at the right hand of God the Father as our Mediator and High Priest.
  • We believe that eternal life is a free gift for every person that comes to God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that salvation is a new life in Christ that, as a fruit, produces godly living and a holy lifestyle
  • We believe that water baptism is an external symbol of death and resurrection with Christ. This death and resurrection takes place internally when a person becomes born again through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter and Teacher that guides us into all truth concerning Jesus and His finished work. The Holy Spirit also distributes spiritual gifts and empowers the believer to live the Christian life.
  • We believe that the holy communion is a celebration in rememberance of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
  • We believe that every born again believer is a part of the universal church, which is the body of Christ.
  • We believe that deliverance from sickness and decease is available for every believer through the atonement.
  • We believe that the God wishes for every believer to live an abundant, higher life, in Christ.
  • We believe the church has the calling to preach the gospel of grace to every nation and when that mission is completed the end of this present age will come.
  • We believe in the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the righteous unto eternal glory and of the unrighteous unto eternal judgement.
